Car
The province is situated 100 Prachin Buris northeast of Bangkok, or less than a two-hours' drive from Bangkok.

By Car: the province can be accessed in two ways:

-First: driving along Highway No.305, along Rangsit canal passing Amphoe (district) Ongkharak. This route is about 107 kilometres

-Second: taking Highway No.1, take a right turn at Hin Gong, and then drive along Suwannason Road (Highway No.33). This route is about 137 kilometres

Bus

By Bus: the Transport Co., Ltd. (Bo Kho So) operates daily non-air-conditioned and air-conditioned buses from the Northern Bus Terminal on Kamphaengphet 2 Road. There are two routes: Bangkok-Hin Kong-Nakhon Nayok and Bangkok-Rangsit-Ongkharak-Nakhon Nayok. For more information, contact tel: 0 2537 8055 and 0 2936 2841. Additionally, there are specially-run second-class air-conditioned buses from Bangkok-Ongkharak-Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy (by-passing the Nakhon Nayok town) available.

Travelling from Nakhon Nayok to neighbouring provinces
Nakhon Nayok Bus Terminal offers bus services to neighbouring provinces of Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao, Saraburi, and Chanthaburi, for more information, contact the Transport Co. Ltd. tel: 0 3731 1932.

Presently, the only means of transporta-tion going to Nakornnayok province from Bangkok is by car or other public land transportation. You can go either by National Highway 305 (along Klong Rangsit) passing through Ongkarak District (approx. 105 kms.) or by National Highway 1 passing through Suwannasorn Road and then on to National Highway 33 (approx. 137 kms.).

Air-conditioned buses leave Bangkok from the Northern Bus Terminal (Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road). There are 2 route options, as follows:

1. Bangkok-Rangsit-Ongkarak-Nakornnayok
First Class (Air-conditioned)

Second Class (Air-conditioned)

2. Bangkok-Hinkong-Nakornnayok
First Class (Air-conditioned)

Fare : 92 Baht; Leaves every 30 minutes
First trip: 04.30 hours
Last trip: 21.00 hours

Second Class (Air-conditioned)

Fare : 71 Baht; Leaves every 30 minutes
