The province is situated 100 Prachin Buris northeast of Bangkok, or less than a two-hours' drive from Bangkok. By Car: the province can be accessed in two ways: -First: driving along Highway No.305, along Rangsit canal passing Amphoe (district) Ongkharak. This route is about 107 kilometres -Second: taking Highway No.1, take a right turn at Hin Gong, and then drive along Suwannason Road (Highway No.33). This route is about 137 kilometres Bus By Bus: the Transport Co., Ltd. (Bo Kho So) operates daily non-air-conditioned and air-conditioned buses from the Northern Bus Terminal on Kamphaengphet 2 Road. Presently, the only means of transporta-tion going to Nakornnayok province from Bangkok is by car or other public land transportation. You can go either by National Highway 305 (along Klong Rangsit) passing through Ongkarak District (approx. 105 kms.) or by National Highway 1 passing through Suwannasorn Road and then on to National Highway 33 (approx. 137 kms.).
