Trekking at Khao Yai, Nakornnayok

This annual trekking activity takes place at Khao Yai National Park between the months of December and June (except during the rainy season) to supplement tourism activities in the province of Nakornnayok and increase awareness on the importance of nature and environmental conservation. There are 4 routes that can be chosen from, i.e.

 

Route 1 "Nangrong Falls - Khao Yai Nat'l Park"
F Pass through Saiyonghin Falls, Haew Mahesak Falls, Taadtamong Falls, Taadtakong Falls, Taadtaphoo Falls, and finally Manao Falls; 25-km distance for 3 days and 2 nights.

 

Route 2 "Nangrong Falls - Mae Plong Falls"
F Follow the Wangtakrai Canal, Somphungyai Brook, passes through Kaenghin and Lanhin beaches reaching toward Mae Plong Falls; 16-km distance for an overnight stay.

 

Route 3 "Nangrong Falls - Saiyonghin Falls - Klongruam - Khao Thamon"
F Turn about from Nangrong Falls; 14-km distance for an overnight stay or one-day trip.

 

Route 4 "Nangrong Falls - Saiyonghin Falls"
F Follow Nangrong Canal, passing by Saiyonghin Falls; 8-km distance for a one-day trekking.

 

 

Thongphrai Trekking Services

Rafting at Nakonnayok Canal

The most appropriate time for rafting begins in the month of June until October, starting off from Wangtakrai Bridge or Thadan Bridge all the way through Nakornnayok Canal
