The area is generally flat in the north eastern part close to Dong Phyayen Mountain, to its central and southern direction are
Khao Yai, Khao Khiyaw, Khao Changok, and Khao Nangrong mountains, to name a few. These mountains are the sources of the magnificent streams and waterfalls.


Nakornnayok has an area of 2,122 sq. kms. along the boundary of Saraburi province, in the northern region; and towards the west is Pathumthani province. Nakornnayok is divided into 4 districts, viz. Muang, BaanNa, Ongkarak, and Pakphlee. The total population reaches 248,055; of which 122,980 are male, and 125,075, female. (Survey as of June 2001)

Weather

Nakornnayok has three seasons, namely, Rainy, beginning in the month of June until October; Cold season, November to February; and Hot season, March to May. The average temperature ranges from 27-28?C (83-85?F).
